chinyere okafor is a Ph.D. candidate in Critical Social/Personality Psychology at The Graduate Center, City University of New York. With experience in Participatory Action Research (PAR), she works to bridge elements of decolonial Black feminism, healing justice, abolition, and dis/ability justice to highlight narratives and uplift the work of marginalized communities’ survival and navigation of institutional violence. chinyere supports JLI’s Feminist Circles, the PAR reads process, and manages the partnership with Smith College School for Social Work.
