Christine ElDabh

Christine ElDabh is a legal empowerment fellow with the Jailhouse Lawyers Initiative (JLI) at the Bernstein Institute for Human Rights at NYU School of Law, where she supports the legal and policy advocacy work of incarcerated jailhouse lawyers. She is a 2023 graduate of NYU Law where she was a student advocate in the Global Justice Clinic working with JLI to develop a module on data justice and co-represented an incarcerated client in a parole denial appeal as a student in the Civil Rights in the Criminal Legal System Clinic. She worked on issues related to environmental justice as a fellow with the Center on Race, Inequality & the Law and was a parole advocate with the Parole Advocacy Project and Appellate Advocates. Before law school, Christine was a program officer at the Leitner Center for International Law and Justice at Fordham Law School where she worked on anti-carceral and gender justice advocacy in the US and Kenya. She received her BA from the University of Virginia.
