Craig Shepherd Defying Legal Gravity

Craig Shepherd is the Co-founder Defying Legal Gravity, an organization that provides educational programming that mirrors a first-year law school curriculum to New York City youth to legally empower students to know, use and shape the law and increase civic engagement within their communities. Craig is also the Co-founder of Food With Fam, a community built on reciprocity and reimagining relationship to food and one another. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Food with Fam has aimed to build a sustainable model of produce distributions that provides nourishment and sustenance to disadvantaged neighborhoods throughout New York City, and builds long-lasting trust and connections that can become a vehicle for greater health and collaboration amongst New Yorkers.
